The Grace of Moving Earth
I've been looking for some sense of grace these last few days and found it in this short documentary about Anne Troake, a choreographer who has composed a waltz for three construction excavators. Click here for the movie file (it is 9MB in size).
In the process of making sure I called the piece of equipment by its proper name, I discovered that John Deere has a build-your-own option for construction equipment. I got side-tracked for a little while building a custom Knuckleboom Loader until I realized that I really don't have any place to park it. Though, with its John Deere 6068T PowerTech engine, the 335 Knuckleboom Loader would probably make pretty short work of this mangy madrona which is hanging out on the edge of the property.
